Remove the Pickle/Burn the Goat album cover

Remove the Pickle / Burn the Goat

I wasn't always a solo act. My early years were spent collaborating with other local artists. In 1994, Remove the Pickle was born (and died). This arena rock band was composed of Rich and me. In 1996, there was Burn the Goat, an indie band with Ruby.

In 2001, after successfully releasing "Dead Pigs in the Front Yard", a collection of remixes of old tracks, I continued to dig through cassettes and dusted off our recordings, which we made on tape decks. I remastered the tapes and selected the more tolerable tracks and put them out on a split CD. In those years, I was new to working with sound, and I put too much reverb on many of the tracks.

These songs are not for everybody. In fact, most people would rather choke on their own urine than be subjected to them. But here they are: 28 of our early works.
