Total cook time: 40 minutes
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly oil a 9"x9" baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, baking powder, corn, and jalapeño.
3. In a smaller bowl, mix together the egg, milk, and oil. Add it to the large bowl. Mix it all together.
4. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
It might be interesting to use whole wheat pastry flour instead of whole wheat flour.
